Message from our Co-Presidents

Hello and Welcome!

On behalf of the MSU COM chapter of SNMA we thank you for visiting our website.  SNMA is the nation's oldest and largest independent student run organization focused on the needs and concerns of medical students of color. The organization as a whole is dedicated to both ensuring culturally sensitive medical education and services as well as increasing the number of minorities entering and completing medical school.   To this end, the MSU COM Chapter of SNMA has established and proposed a number of programs to promote excellence and retention as well as cultural competency during our medical education. Such programs include our Mentor Mentee program and Medical Spanish Workshop. We hope that the programs that we have established during this second year as the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine Chapter will become long standing traditions that promote the goals and principles that the organization was founded upon.
